Tanner so looks like he was a real pioneer student! Well okay so maybe he's not dirty enough and his hair is too neat! I must say though that I'm sure glad that I wasn't a teacher then....scratch, scratch, scratch on those slate boards was enough to send me screaming out of the one room school house like there was a fire! To top that off they then use quill pens...pretty much the same sound.
Yes everyone here it is the wonderful world of pioneers. I know you'd like it better then than now. Who wants plumbing and electricity? Fridges and gas stoves? Warm showers are for -----???!!! Wimps I know we all could do it if we had to. I must admit I really enjoyed being in a dress and having an apron. I was able to smother anything or one I wanted to.... no but really those aprons could hold a lot of stuff and I felt like a lady!

Took me a while to visit but sure enjoyed the pictures. Both of your look like you 'fit'.
